Frequently asked questions
Are these AP score calculators official?
No. They are free unofficial estimators for study planning. They are not affiliated with or endorsed by College Board. Score bands are based on publicly available scoring worksheets and are marked as estimates.
How accurate are the score estimates?
The calculators use the same composite-score math found in publicly released AP scoring worksheets. However, College Board does not publish official cutoffs, and conversion standards can vary by year and exam form. Treat every result as a planning range, not a guarantee.
Which AP subjects are supported?
AP US History (APUSH), AP English Language, AP World History, AP US Government, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, and AP Psychology. More subjects will be added.
Do I enter percent correct or raw points?
Enter raw points — the number of questions you answered correctly (for MCQ) or the rubric points you earned (for FRQ). Each calculator shows the maximum raw score for each section.
Can I share my score estimate?
Yes. After adjusting the sliders, tap the Share button on any calculator page. It copies a URL that pre-fills your scores so you can compare estimates with classmates or save your progress.
